The name of this wine originates from the district where it is produced, Scaparoni in the district of Alba.
After it has been pressed it remains in oak barrels for a year, which gives it its excellent texture and its dry, harmonious taste with highly balanced tannins. Its aromas convey a hint of brushwood; it is a preferred accompaniment to full-bodied pasta and game dishes.
